Kenkyū (建久), the era when the first shogunate was founded in Japan. Taking inspiration from the artistry of samurai weaponry and armour, we named this collection after this memory era of samurai history.

The collection carries the same seminal framework for Monbrey’s uniquely angular aesthetic. Its complex angular aesthetics of watch hands and indices provide a touch of metallic sophistication at the periphery, complemented by the serene charm of Jewel steel and Mother of Pearl dial.
